The Gangbang Girl #32 Porn Movie Shot At Taxpayer Owned Los Angeles California Coliseum – National Historic Landmark – With LA County Sheriff’s Department Helicopter Appearing Overhead During Filming

May 30, 2012

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum field is the place where the USC Trojans play football, two Summer Olympics were staged, John F. Kennedy accepted the Democratic presidential nomination and Pope John Paul II celebrated Mass.

It was also a location for “The Gangbang Girl #32,” a hard-core pornographic movie that featured 40 minutes of group sex on the gridiron turf, The Times has learned.

The filming at the taxpayer-owned stadium was done at night, with the Coliseum’s towering lights blazing and its rows of distinctive red and white seats framing many of the scenes. The video also shows the stadium’s signature tunnel, which the Trojan team charges through at the start of games, as well as a sliver of the iconic peristyle, the arched entrance to the Coliseum.

“I was just in awe that we were at the Coliseum,” said a star of the film, who goes by the name Mr. Marcus. “I’ve made movies for about 20 years and I’ve done a lot of things, but that one really stands out.… I mean, who gets to have sex on the Coliseum floor?”

Marcus said the football-themed footage was shot on a single night, including some non-explicit scenes filmed in a Coliseum locker room that did not make the final cut. The Coliseum is not identified by name in the video, which was made in 2001 and released in 2002. About half of the 90-minute movie was filmed elsewhere.

How the crew got permission to use the national historic landmark — which was built as a memorial to World War I veterans — is unclear. Attempts to reach a representative of the production company, Anabolic Video, were unsuccessful.

The Coliseum is jointly run by the city, county and state, which owns the land. A spokesman for the California attorney general’s office said Tuesday that he did not know if it is illegal to film pornography on state property. Agencies such as the California Department of Parks and Recreation prohibit porn shoots on properties they control.

Gaining access to the locked stadium and firing up the field lights typically requires the approval of a high-ranking manager, according to people familiar with Coliseum operations, who requested anonymity because they are not allowed to speak publicly on the matter.

An attorney for the top Coliseum executive at the time the video was made said his client knew nothing about the production.

Former General Manager Patrick Lynch resigned in early 2011 and was indicted in March of this year in a sweeping corruption case.

“That’s disgusting,” Lynch’s attorney, Tony Capozzola, said of the porn shoot. “He would never allow that.”

Lynch has pleaded guilty to conflict of interest in a deal that required him to return $385,000 in alleged kickbacks he received from a Coliseum contractor. Ex-events manager Todd DeStefano has pleaded not guilty to charges that include bribery, embezzlement and conspiracy. Four other men also have been indicted in the case.

The indictments followed more than a year of Times reports on Coliseum financial irregularities and lax oversight by its nine-member governing commission, which includes four elected officials. Managers were engaged in side deals with concert promoters and others who did business at the Coliseum. Executives spent tens of thousands of dollars in public funds on massages, golf tournaments, luxury cars and other perks.

The commission is now at the brink of insolvency and voted May 14 to surrender control of the stadium and companion Sports Arena to USC.

Some current commissioners, including county Supervisors Zev Yaroslavsky and Mark Ridley-Thomas, were on the panel when the film was shot.

Yaroslavsky and Ridley-Thomas declined requests for an interview late Tuesday.

The plot of the movie, to the extent that it has one, revolves around a football team and a cheerleader.

The Anabolic logo is emblazoned on the jerseys the dozen or so performers wear — Marcus kept his as a souvenir — and on banners draped like bunting along the stands.

Marcus is a repeat winner of the annual Adult Video News Award, has been inducted into the X-Rated Critics Organization’s Adult Movie Hall of Fame and wrote the 2010 book “The Porn Star Guide to Great Sex” (St. Martin’s Press), which earns a three-star review on the Barnes & Noble website.

Before he joins in the film’s raunchier scenes, Marcus is depicted as a quarterback tossing warmup passes near the western end zone. He told The Times he remembered the movie was shot on a cool night starting about 7.

“We were probably there until 11 p.m.,” he said.

The movie’s credits say it was produced on Sept. 16, 2001, a Sunday, during USC’s football season.

The Trojans played at the Coliseum the weekend before and two weeks later.

Sitting in the warehouse-like office of his Van Nuys-based apparel company, Daddy Inc., Marcus recalled that a clearly marked Sheriff’s Department helicopter startled the cast when it appeared overhead in mid-shoot. The whop-whop of a chopper’s blades is heard in the movie.

Marcus said he remembered looking up and thinking: “There’s going to be, like, this intercom saying, ‘Hey, this is the … Sheriff’s Department, you guys must cease.’

“But none of that came. They just circled, like they were trying to see what was going on.”

Spokesmen for the Sheriff’s Department and Los Angeles Police Department, which has jurisdiction over the Coliseum, said they had no information about any 2001 pornography shoot there.

Marcus said the fact that the filming continued after the helicopter left convinced him that Anabolic must have had an official go-ahead to use the stadium.

“Honestly, when I started to shoot there, I thought, ‘How the hell did we pull this off? And does everyone know about it?’”

The performer had no apologies for people who might be angry that the movie may have tarnished the Coliseum.

“You can be mad all you want, but it was one of those once-in-a-lifetime types of opportunities,” he said.

Los Angeles California Firefighters Investigated After Taking Part In On-The-Job Porn Movie Production

September 22, 2011

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – LA City firefighters are under investigation for allegedly taking part in porn movies on the job, Cpt. Jaime Moore of the Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed to NBC4 LA.

This is the second city department this year where employees have been investigated for alleged involvement in porn movies while on duty.

In April, NBC4 LA revealed how two LA traffic cops from the LA Department of Transportation appeared in a porn movie.

LAFD insiders recently tipped off NBCLA that several firefighters allowed porn producers to use their fire engines in two adult movies that are available on one of the world’s biggest porn websites.

If participation by the firefighters is proven true, it is a violation of department policy, Moore said.

In one of the movies, shot at Venice Beach, LAFD Engine 263 is used as the backdrop by an actress performing lewd acts.

“Look at this fire truck,” says porn actress Charley Chase, as she climbs on the engine and repeatedly exposes herself. “Isn’t that nice.”

It appears that a group of firefighters are watching the movie being shot.

“I know them,” one man says on camera in the reality-style porn flick. “I’m a firefighter.”

Firefighters “set it all up ahead of time” with “the film crew” because they thought it was “good clean fun,”an insider told NBC4 LA.

In the movie, Engine 263 is parked in two disabled spots — a violation of department policy — apparently so the porn producers could use the truck.

For several minutes of the movie, the actress appears to have free access to the engine, and asks numerous passersby to fondle her.

“Look, I think we have more friends,” she says, as a group of men stop to fondle the actress.

“Zero tolerance for that,” said Cpt. Tina Haro, an LAFD spokeswoman.

Fire Chief Brian Cummings has ordered a full-scale investigation into possible misconduct by an undisclosed number of firefighters who allegedly cooperated with the porn producers, Haro said.

“The fire chief is adamant about addressing the issue, finding out what took place,” she told told NBC4 LA.

Firefighters might have a tough time explaining how their truck was used in a porn movie. Department policy says “apparatus…shall be kept in sight at all times” by firefighters assigned to it.

The policy also says LAFD employees must “operate apparatus in a way that does not compromise the reputation of the department.”

An insider told NBC4 LA “the battalion chiefs knew. Everyone at the station level knew” about the movie.

“The professional standards division is following all leads, all reasonable leads, leaving no stone unturned” in its investigation, which could take months Haro said.

That’s in stark contrast to the LA Department of Transportation, where officials learned earlier this year that two Parking Enforcement officers appeared in another porn movie, while in uniform and on duty.

LADOT didn’t launch a full investigation until the officers’ participation was revealed in an exclusive NBC4 LA report.

One officer was fired and another disciplined as a result of the city investigation. Parking Enforcement Chief Jimmy Price retired two years ahead of schedule.

The LAFD brass say they’re taking the allegations seriously.

They confirmed they’re investigating not just the firefighters from Venice, but some from another station in Hollywood.

That’s because NBC4 LA learned of yet another porn movie, where Engine 41 from Hollywood is used as a backdrop.

“Hey, turn around,” a firefighter sitting atop the truck is heard shouting to a topless actress in the movie.

LAFD officials say any employees found violating department policy by cooperating with porn producers will be disciplined.

“The fire chief absolutely will not tolerate the type of thing that might have happened in that videotape,” Haro said

Manhattan New York Criminal Court Judge And Former Prosecutor James Gibbons Quits In Disgrace After Fathering Child With Young Legal Aid Lawyer And Collection Of Porn Is Discovered On His Office Computer

August 27, 2010

MANHATTAN, NEW YORK – A cleavage-crazed criminal court judge – who fathered a son with a young Legal Aid lawyer – quit after officials found a massive porn stash on his work computer, sources said Thursday.

Disgraced Manhattan jurist James Gibbons, a whip-smart ex-prosecutor who once convicted rapists and killers, fired off a terse resignation letter last week after the nasty cache was uncovered.

“There was a lot of porn on his computer – all young women,” an investigator told the Daily News. “Lots of crotch and cleavage shots.”

The Manhattan district attorney’s office is scouring the vile files to determine if criminal charges are warranted – and are checking whether any of the women are underage.

Gibbons, 47, already had raised eyebrows with his ethics-skirting romance with Legal Aid lawyer Jeanne Emhoff, 31, who he fathered a son with weeks ago.

Emhoff’s Facebook page, which was pulled down Thursday, featured a photo of a man with a boy on his shoulder.

The porn revelation staggered the baby’s grandparents.

“This is going to break her heart,” Emhoff’s stepdad said of his wife. “She thinks the world of Jim. … This will destroy my wife.”

Gibbons – who was not arrested – was caught when a computer-monitoring system in the courthouse red-flagged his courthouse terminal, a law enforcement source said.

He was on paternity leave when the images were discovered and the computer seized.

During the 14 years he worked in the Manhattan district attorney’s office, Gibbons was well-known for his efficient handling of street crimes.

He also enjoyed a good reputation on the bench after his December 2001 appointment by departing Mayor Rudy Giuliani.

“He was a very careful judge on the law,” lawyer Adam Freedman said. “If he was using his state-issued computer for illegal activities, it would be uncharacteristic, considering how careful he is on the law.”

Despite the possible conflicts of interest between Gibbons and Emhoff, a source close to the case said, their affair was unrelated to the investigation.

“There is absolutely no link between the judge’s relationship with Jeanne Emhoff and any alleged criminal activity,” the source said. “One has nothing to do with the other.”

It was unclear when the porn was found on the disgraced judge’s computer, but sources said its discovery was just routine.

“In government agencies, and in many private sector firms, employers are able to monitor employee computer usage,” a source said.

Gibbons quit his position with a simple three-paragraph letter that offered no clues to his sudden nightmare.

“It has been a privilege to serve as a judge of the Criminal Court of the City of New York,” he wrote. “Please accept this letter as a statement of my resignation of that office effective today.”
