Greenwich Connecticut Police Officer Donnell Fludd, Charged With Stalking And Harassing Ex-Lover Faces More Charges

May 19, 2012

BRIDGEPORT, CONNECTICUT - The Greenwich police officer charged with stalking and harassment in February now faces a first-degree unlawful restraint charge in connection with the same case, according to a state prosecutor.

Donnell Fludd, 44, made a brief appearance in Courtroom B in state Superior Court Friday afternoon alongside attorney Michael Thomas, a colleague of Fludd’s attorney Darnell D. Crosland, who did not make the appearance.

Wearing a blue striped shirt tucked into khaki pants, Fludd listened quietly and with little reaction during a five-minute court appearance in which Assistant State’s Attorney Kevin Dunn explained why he had levied the new charge.

Fludd, who remains on paid administrative leave from the Greenwich Police Department, was initially charged with second-degree harassment, second-degree stalking and disorderly conduct, all misdemeanors, in connection with his continuing contact with a former girlfriend.

Dunn confirmed the unlawful restraint charge is the result of an incident that the alleged victim in the case, a 32-year-old Greenwich woman, reported to have occurred in her apartment building elevator.

After she filed a complaint in November, the woman provided police with photographs of the injuries she claimed to have sustained, according to a 19-page affidavit filed in state Superior Court in Stamford.

Thomas said a discussion of Fludd’s family violence program application, which Fludd and Crosland filed earlier this month, was scheduled to occur at Friday’s court appearance, but Crosland could not attend because he was delayed at state Superior Court in Stamford, where a bomb scare forced the evacuation of the 123 Hoyt St. building and held up court proceedings.

Multiple messages seeking comment were left with Crosland.

Fludd, the co-founder of the popular Greenwich Flag Football League, is next scheduled to appear in Bridgeport May 31.

In the affidavit, the woman described various ways in which Fludd allegedly stalked and harassed her, despite her requests to stop, and told police there were several instances in which Fludd used his position as a police officer, his large size and his knowledge of firearms to intimidate her.

The department subsequently launched an internal affairs investigation, which is ongoing.

Crosland said in a previous statement to Greenwich Time that the allegations against Fludd do not reflect the way he has conducted himself throughout his life

Fludd, who acknowledged he had a relationship with the woman, said he never physically harmed her, tried to intimidate her, or took his gun out in front of her in a threatening manner, according to the affidavit.

Greenwich police have said they will not comment further on the case at this time.

Dashcam Video Camera’s Audio Caught On Duty Santa Fe New Mexico Police Officer Sgt. Mike Eiskant Masturbating In Patrol Car – Plead Guilty For Slap On The Wrist For Laundry List Of Charges Including Stalking, Harassment, And Drugs

April 12, 2012

SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO – A police sergeant in Santa Fe, New Mexico is in a bad situation after a video caught him masturbating while he was on duty. The video has recently been released and it was filmed by the dashboard camera of the officer’s cruiser. The video released to the media does not show the inside of the cruiser but has audio that is quite steamy. The officer in question is Sgt. Mike Eiskant.

One former officer, Shannon Brady, was not surprised at the news of the video as Brady said that Eiskant had a bad reputation as a stalker of women and a ‘creeper.’ Brady attempted to file a harassment complaint against Eiskant years ago with the Santa Fe Police Department’s human resource division. The complaint was filed with compliance officer Raymond Rael, who is not the police chief for the department.

You can hear on the video his audio-erotic situation and the sound of a zipper can be heard clearly. The officer seems to be masturbating while looking at a nude picture of a woman on his cellphone. The video is a total of 10 minutes and at one time in the video the officer can be heard saying, “Oh, show me those big beautiful breasts, baby.”

They had plenty of opportunities over the course of many years to do something about it and they refused to,” Brady said.

When Brady tried to file the claim, Rael asked if she was “doing this only because of all the rumors against Mike Eiskant stalking women.” Rael instead offered mediation between the two parties but Brady declined. Rael has said that he is unaware of any other complaints against Eiskant, who has never been placed on administrative leave. Eiskant is scheduled to retire in November.

“I did not have prior knowledge, and if I did, I would have acted,” Rael said.

When Eiskant was promoted to the rank of sergeant he was issued the badge number 69. Rael explained that he did not know the reason why this happened.

“Is it possible that it is coincidental?” Rael said. “I suppose, but I can’t speak to that issue one way or another.”

A statement from the Attorney General Gary King’s office said that Eiskant promised he “will never again become a law enforcement officer anywhere in the United States,” as part of his plea deal. The agreement also states that “probation length, at initial sentencing, shall not exceed one year, and may be converted to unsupervised probation, in the discretion of the court, after any mandatory counseling has been completed.”

Eiskant entered a no contest plea in Bernalillo County District Court in front of Judge Reed Sheppard for other issues. The no contest pleas were for two counts of attempt to commit a felony for false imprisonment, one count of stalking, two counts of harassment and charges for larceny and possession of marijuana. The criminal complaint details that seven of the charges happened in 2011 and plenty of them involved women in traffic stops.

Bridgeton New Jersey Police Officer Ron Caldwell Arrested, Charged With Stalking And Harassing Woman Who Had A Restraining Order Against Him

March 18, 2011

BRIDGETON, NEW JERSEY — A Bridgeton police officer was arrested Tuesday and charged with stalking and harassment.

Officer Ron Caldwell, a man who Mayor Albert Kelly confirmed is a member of the Bridgeton Police Department, was allegedly involved in an incident in the parking lot of the Upper Deerfield Wawa with a woman who had a restraining order against him.

Sgt. Brian Polite, speaking from the headquarters of the New Jersey State Police, said Caldwell had been arrested Tuesday and charged with fourth-degree stalking and harassment, which is a disorderly persons offense.

Specific information about the incident was scarce.

“This department does not comment on personnel matters,” said a lieutenant at the
Bridgeton Police Department. He would not even confirm that a Ron Caldwell worked in the department.

Mayor Kelly, when asked whether Caldwell had been suspended or if the gun that he was issued for his duties had been taken away from him, said that he was not going to comment.

“I do not want to get on shaky ground as far as personnel issues,” he said.

Late Thursday afternoon, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McCrae finally confirmed Caldwell had been suspended from the police department and had his gun taken away, though she could not say whether or not he was still receiving his paycheck.

Chief Mark Ott of the Bridgeton Police Department was not available for comment.

March 15, 2011

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – A former police officer pleaded no contest today to using a GPS to keep tabs on a woman he was dating.

Aaron Paul Parsons, 31, of Costa Mesa pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor count of unlawful use of an electronic tracking device, according to court records.

The terms of Parsons’ sentence were unclear in court records, but he was ordered to contribute to the Victim Witness Emergency Fund. Prosecutors said, Parsons could have faced up to six months in jail if he was convicted at trial.

Dumbass Former Tehama County California Deputy Sheriff Jack Allen Roberts Charged After Stalking And Assaulting Woman

April 11, 2009

SHASTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA – A former Tehama County sheriff’s deputy was arraigned Friday in Shasta County Superior Court on charges that he relentlessly stalked, as well as physically assaulted, a Redding woman.

Jack Allen Roberts, 34, who pleaded not guilty, remains in Shasta County jail in lieu of $500,000 bail.

Roberts, who was arrested Wednesday, is charged with 13 total felony counts, including stalking, first-degree residential burglary, vandalism, possession of flammable material for malicious use, corporal injury and battery.

He is tentatively due to have his preliminary hearing on April 21.

Roberts resigned from the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office last year after he had fired a handgun inside his then Cottonwood residence in June, a law enforcement investigative report reveals.

In that report, which was made public Friday, Roberts, who was described by some witnesses as a “loose cannon,” had a long relationship with the Redding woman.

But, it said, she learned about three years ago that he was having an affair with a co-worker while he was working as a Tehama County sheriff’s deputy.

Attempts to save the relationship failed and she eventually met another man, the report noted.

According to the criminal complaint, the alleged stalking began around April 2008 and, despite restraining orders issued against him, continued until this month.

She told Redding police investigators last month that she was reluctant to move forward with the case because Roberts had been trying to get a job with a private contracting company to go to work in Iraq and work as an independent contractor.

“Victim stated if she went forward with this case, it may hinder his ability to get that job and he would remain here in Shasta County and continue to be a problem to her,” the Redding Police Department report says.

She said that she was also afraid of him, noting that he can have a violent temper, and feared what he might do to her and her boyfriend, it said.

She later changed her mind, it said, when she found one of her vehicles vandalized and believed he was the one responsible for it.

According to the report, which described a number of instances of physical and emotional abuse, the woman said that he once pushed her against a wall, placed his hands around her neck and began to choke her until her son intervened.

She said that he also, among other things, once pushed her down and slammed her head against the ground.
